A Spanish Jesuit missionary and writer; born in Navarre; died in Goa, 16-. He wrote both in Latin and in Persian. Among his chief works are: "A Treatise on the Mysteries of Christianity" (1600); a "Life of the Apostles"; a "History of Jesus Christ"; and a "Directory of Kings for the Government of their Subjects".
