An American journalist and verse-writer; born in Troy, N. Y., June 12, 1845; died in Tarrytown, N. Y., Dec. 17, 1879. He was editorially connected with the Troy Whig, and contributed verses to other journals and periodicals, besides a series of "Letters from Europe". His published volumes include: "Castle Windows" (1876); "Poke o' Moonshine" (1878); "Midsummer Dreams" (1879); and "Pots of Gold".
